Working in the healthcare field we all have stories to share especially when relating to a situation our clients or new clients are facing. Something struck me to share this amazing story, as some of you coming across this blog may relate to. (Keeping names confidential of course as security is our priority.)
An applicant calls in and had some great questions. She said she’s not looking into this position for the money, she’s retired and has a passion for helping children and elderly. She said her dad lives in an Independent Senior Living Community and it breaks her heart to see so many residents needing help when she goes to see her dad. A huge reason he goes to see her dad so often is to help him with small things he can’t do on his own anymore. She was wondering how other residents live day to day with no family or friends around to help them, so she helps whoever she can when she’s there. I was able to inform her that a big percentage of the elderly community faces issues like this all the time and that’s why we are here to help. I wish we had eyes everywhere, and it takes special people like herself to witness and reach out so we can help. We are partnered with many Independent communities however, because of her, we were able to reach out to that community and establish a connection to partner to help going forward. We also brought her onboard and gained an amazing Caregiver that we had full trust in knowing she would give the best care to any client that she is with and any surrounding that potentially may need help.” Quality care is our priority as well and we are grateful for our amazing team!
