Personal Care Services With Dignity and Respect

What does client-centered care mean to us? At ComForCare, our private nurses, in-home caregivers, and other health care practitioners listen to and honor the perspectives and choices of clients and their families. Client and family knowledge, values, beliefs and cultural backgrounds are incorporated into the planning and delivery of care. This may include making special accommodations for religious restrictions regarding meal preparation, or applying similar considerations to home care, private nursing care, and other long-term care. Operating this way helps to create a relationship in which all parties are mutually respected.

With Home Health Care, Collaboration Is Key

Clients and families are also included on an institution-wide basis. Health care leaders collaborate with clients and families in policy and program development, implementation and evaluation. Their suggestions and insights are also considered when making changes to health care facility design and professional education, along with the delivery of care.

ComForCare uses client and family suggestions—as well as client needs evaluations—to determine how best to provide care for each individual client. This information is also ultimately used to improve care for all clients in the area. Clients may be given more companionship time, have more attention focused on condition management, or other changes may be made to care routines as determined through close collaboration with clients and families.

  • "Patricia has been great with my 93 year old mother!"
She's creative and just seems to know what my mother needs and wants. She's a great aid to me knowing doctors visits, prescription pick-up and grocery runs are all taken care of - big load off my mind and schedule.
  • "The owners and nurse are fantastic!"
Always willing to take calls from my Mom and explain things in a way she and I can understand. Also walked us through the insurance process. That was not easy and their expertise was greatly appreciated.
  • "ComForCare has given me peace of mind!"
The fact that ComForCare was able to step in with certified dementia care specialists and begin caring for my father has been fantastic. The staff and caregivers are both sympathetic and empathetic and I feel it has helped my father during this difficult time. It has also given me peace of mind since I live a long distance from my father, and the communication from staff and caregivers is reassuring.
